Indulge in pure luxury with our Green Mata Ni Exquisite Pachedi Chanderi Saree Devi. Handcrafted with intricate details and natural dyes, this saree is a masterpiece on textiles. Adorned with ethnic motifs of Gujarart, it brings divinity to your wardrobe. Elevate your style and embrace sophistication. Mata Ni Pachedi literally means “behind the mother goddess”, and is a cloth that constitutes a temple of the goddess. When people of the nomadic Vaghari community of Gujarat were barred from entering temples, they made their own shrines with depictions of the Mother Goddess on cloth. This ingenuous solution is believed to be the origin of Mata ni Pachedi, the sacred art, which is now revered by all. Wooden block-printing and painting are the two techniques used to create the Mata ni Pachedi; the former for borders and certain figures, and brushes and paint for freehand drawings, embellishments and some flights of fancy that the artist may choose to incorporate. The artists combine free hand-painting with hand block printing. .Saree length : 6.2 m (including a running blouse fabric) Saree Width : 46 inches Note: The colours you see on your device may vary due to the varying colour reproduction, brightness and resolution of individual devices. This is a handwoven saree and minor irregularities are the uniqueness of handcrafted products and make them exquisite!
